How does my child join 1st Fairview? 

The Waiting List application form is to be completed, signed by a parent or guardian and returned, by post, to the Admissions Officer. Application forms are available to download here

Applications will only be accepted for children 4 years of age or older who are living within the defined boundary for admission to 1st Dublin Fairview Scout Group.

The Admissions Officer will acknowledge receipt of the application by email and no other correspondence will be entered into until your child is offered a place in a section.

If a place is no longer required we’d please ask parents or guardians to contact us and let us know so that we can keep our waiting list up to date.

If a place is offered and not taken up, the child’s name will be removed from the waiting list.

Minimum ages are:

Beavers – 6 years, Cubs – 9 years, Scouts – 12 years, Ventures – 15 years and Rovers – 18 years.
